In its fifth year, Jittery Joe’s and Kalahari have teamed up as co-title sponsors to form the Jittery Joe’s-Kalahari Professional Cycling Team. The team is classified as a UCI Continental professional road cycling team and is based out of Athens, Georgia (USA).

“We have four very strong returning riders, Jeff, Jesse, Jonny and mid-season addition Evan Elken,” says Micah Rice, General Manager of the Team. “Tim from Saunier Duval-Prodir was obviously our big pickup in the off-season. We picked up Thad from Colavita and Christian from the Subway team. Craig is a neo-pro from Oregon and Bruno is a French Canadian training partner of Tim’s. A huge asset to the team will be Trent and Geoff who mainly race mountain bikes. Both of them will be a huge asset at the big races where they can take time out of their busy mountain bike schedules to join us.”

Kalahari Limited is based in Atlanta, Georgia and imports all of its products from South Africa. Kalahari is best known for their Red Tea which is made from the Rooibos (roy-Boss) herb which grows only in the Cederburg Mountains of South Africa.
