Water Bottle Cage and Bike

January 24th, 2005 by Tim Grahl

Came across this cool looking water bottle cage today. Looks like it would be a good place to keep your water bottles. Also seems like it would be a more natural place to grab instead of having to lean down. The only problem I see is if you are descending and trying to slide your butt off the back of the seat. Anybody ever use one of these?

Haven’t heard much about KHS bikes, but the reviews are pretty good on them and the 2003 Witch Docter is almost 60% off retail at $600. Kinda funky looking and a couple years old but may be worth it for the price break.

Your on the right track, if you slide off the back, you probably are going to K.O. that thing. Good for roadies or long epics that are not going down alot. Lots of Tri-geeks use these as many of there rigs don’t accomodate two waterbottles. Plus it’s more “aero”.

You can slide the aqua rack lower on teh seat post to allow you to slide off teh back as you choose - experiment wiht the height that worls for you.
