The International Mountain Bike Association will hold its newest 24-hour event in Washington, D.C. between April 6-7.
The event is aimed to raise awareness about trail access issues and to try to gain the support of lawmakers. The event begins on April 6 at 7pm with a party at which the IMBA staff will give handouts on key issues and lobbying advice to participants. The next morning, hungover or not, participants will go to Congress to discuss key legislation and its impact on mountain biking.
IMBA will schedule all Congressional meetings and provide free food and drink, however participants need to cover their own lodging and transportation to the event. For more information and to register for the event, go to IMBA’s website.
