I have used the Planet Bike Protege 8.0 and it was a great computer. I love the the big screen display and the ease of switching functions. The Protege 9.0, with the added thermometer feature, is available at JensonUSA for $20. I can’t imagine finding a better computer available anywhere near that price.

For those of us who get a lot of use out of our helmets, Supergo is having a sale on them. There are a few Bells for under $20, so if you are strapped for money, that is probably the way to go. However they also have some nicer Bell and Giro models available as well.
