A few months ago I wrote an article called “How to obtain sponsors.” With the success of our previous attempt in getting sponsors, our team has decided to enter an event called the Acura LA Bike Tour. The event will occur in March and we figured what a great time to start planning on getting sponsors.

Within 1 day, we were able to get 3 companies that were highly interested in sponsoring our team. Heck, one of them is a new up and coming bike company that specializes in high end parts, building and reselling of XC, Trail and Free Ride bikes. If you remember from my article, the selling point in sponsoring your team is that your clients are paying for cheap advertisement.

I think the best part about obtaining sponsorship is that everyone helps out in making the goal happen. Another great point about this endeavor is you get free jerseys and other great stuff!

You should try it out and you’ll ask yourself why you haven’t done this before.
