Jittery Joe’s Cycling Coffee
December 22nd, 2004 by Tim GrahlI got my first sample of Jittery Joe’s Cycling Coffee at Interbike, the bike conference in Las Vegas. The guy working the booth told us that the Jittery Joe’s Cycling Team, instead of getting corporate sponsors, sells this coffee to fund their team. I figured it was a good cause and I love coffee, so I decided to give it a try.

This is arabic coffee that is grown organically and micro-roasted in Athens, GA. I tried out a medium-dark roast. Where most darker roast coffee has a very bitter taste, this one was very flavorful but did not have that pungent bite that is usually there. I enjoyed the first batch a good bit, however I decided to get some more input. I brewed a big pot of coffee for everyone at work and they all liked it pretty well.
If you want to pick up some of your own you can find all their dealers at www.thebeanteam.com. You’ll pick up some great coffee while helping out a cycling team to.

I love Jittery Joe’s! Nice and strong, great for a pre-ride energy jolt. Been drinking it for three years.
